_A sound and soul immersed in a blues bloodline – PHILIP MORGAN LEWIS_

Foxes on red leaves”, is the third single by Philip Morgan Lewis from his upcoming album “Grief Harbour”, the track is released via Moonalizer Records (24/05/17).

This song is an emotive slice of gritty, broken-down, piano-led alternative rock, neck deep in self-doubt and everyday agony. In the same breath it holds a euphoric sense of self-discovery, which lays dormant in us all. “Foxes on red leaves” shows us Philip’s darker side, and a sound and soul immersed in a blues’ bloodline.

The overall soundscape is cinematic, with an off-kilter theatrical and almost doomsday feel, it builds and falls as Philip’s powerful vocals ride shotgun.

Jon Harris steps in on drums (Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Roachford, Ebony Bones) as Shuta Shinoda takes the reigns as piano session engineer (Daughter, Yak, Ghost Poet, Anna Meredith).

The track was recorded in east London between Fort Studios and Hackney Road Studios and mastered by Pete Maher (Jack White, The Killers, U2, The Rolling stones).
