Okay Champ share marching post-punk juggernaut ‘The Party’s Over (Goodbye Yellow Brick Road)’.

The bones of the track combine angular post-punk guitar against a marching drum beat, before being joined by a heavy wave of distorted instrumentation. The band’s post-apocalyptic soundscape is pivoted by the excellent lyricism that seeps through the track part reminiscent part remorseful.

“‘The Party’s Over (Goodbye Yellow Brick Road)’ is basically a giant strop about mortality, and Brexit’’

The band delve into the darker, murkier waters of rock on The Party’s Over (Goodbye Yellow Brick Road), the track being a product of the times we exist in and an exhalation of the deeper feelings we don’t share enough. Revel in the magic.
